Digital switch off?

Lots of us still haven't a clue about digital switchover apparently and face the prospect of our TV screens going blank over the next few years as the analogue signal is switched off region by region. Even if you have cable, satellite or freeview sorted out for your main TV set, what about your other sets? Despite what the electrical retailers might tell you do you really need to buy a megascreen plasma high-definition digital TV to get digital TV? Will you need a new TV aerial?
